Domains

Your name, your domain.

There are two ways to have one, and the first one is free.

You already own a name

Connect it with two records. It stays where it is.

No charge from us
You do not have one yet

Buy it here. We set it up and it is live the same day. Same price every year.

From £7 a year on Creator and above

No domain yet? Your page still goes live on a shared address, included in every plan. Your own domain is the upgrade, and a name bought here is held for you by FBM Management LTD and moved into your name, free, when you ask.

What actually happens when you buy one

Nobody explains this and it is the reason people do not buy. Five steps, and four of them are ours.

  1. We check it with the registrar, then you pay. The confirm screen shows the yearly price, the renewal date and the terms first. If the name has gone, or the registry will not sell it, you are told there and nothing is charged.
  2. It is registered and held for you. Through our registrar account, by FBM Management LTD, on your behalf. Ask and we move it into your own name at a registrar you choose, free, once the registry's 60 day lock after registration has passed. We will not charge you to release it.
  3. We point it at your page. There is no DNS for you to configure, nothing to copy into another website, and no settings screen to find. It is done for you as part of the price.
  4. We issue the certificate. That is the padlock in the address bar. It is automatic and it renews itself.
  5. Your page goes live on it. Usually within an hour, occasionally up to a day if the registry is slow. Your domains screen shows how far it has got, and from then on the registered date, the renewal date, the price and a switch to stop renewal.

What we need from you: nothing beyond the name. No card details beyond the payment, no DNS, no waiting on hold. If you already own a domain somewhere else you can point that here instead, free, and we will tell you exactly which two records to add.

What we sell

.link
Reads as exactly what it is. The one we would pick.
£14
.page
Google run, HTTPS only, no renewal jump.
£16
.com
The one nobody has to think about.
£18
.in
Short. Reads as India to some people.
£14
.xyz
Cheap, but carries some spam reputation.
£19
.me
Personal by design.
£22
.co
Short, credible, widely recognised.
£32
.bio
Reads best of any of them. Also by far the most expensive to keep, and that is the registry, not us.
£54

No .cam and no .fans on purpose. A bio link on one of those announces what it is to every filter it passes through, which is the opposite of what you are paying for.
