A Linktree alternative
for OnlyFans creators.
By the peekin team. Updated . 4 minute read.
Linktree allows links to adult content if the link is legal, marked as sensitive and not for full service sex work, but it does not allow collecting payment for adult content through Linktree or uploading adult media to it. It is built to be found, which is the opposite of what most adult creators need. Use it if that suits you. Otherwise pick a page built to keep the destination out of sight.
What Linktree's rules say
Linktree publishes Community Standards. On adult content, they say you may link to adult content as long as it is legal where you are, does not advertise full service sex work, and is marked as sensitive. You may also advertise adult media you create and sell on other platforms.
They also say you may not upload adult media to your Linktree, embed feeds that show adult content on it, or use Linktree's own payment and commerce features to sell or collect money for adult content. Linktree may apply the sensitive label to a link automatically.
So an OnlyFans link on a Linktree is allowed under those terms, with a sensitive content warning. Read the current version on Linktree's site before relying on this summary, because policies change.
Where Linktree is genuinely better
Be fair to it. Linktree is the best-known product in this category for good reasons.
- A far bigger product: storefronts, payments, email capture, a mobile app.
- A free tier that is genuinely usable. We have no free plan.
- Brand recognition. Nobody has to be told what Linktree is.
Price, from its own pricing page: Free, then $8, $15 and $35 a month. No roster plan.
Where it is not built for adult creators
Linktree is designed to be found. Pages are easy for search engines to list, links are written plainly into the page, and a preview card shows the page name and image when the link is shared.
For most users that is the point. For an adult creator, it means a crawler fetching your Linktree can read your paid address and your name together. The sensitive label adds a warning for people. It does not remove the address from the page.
Free pages also sit on a shared address with every other Linktree user. See shared link domains explained.
What to look for in an alternative
- The paid address is not in the page's code.
- No preview card pairing your name with a platform.
- The page asks not to be indexed.
- An 18+ check in front of adult links.
- Your own domain.
- A clear rule against showing crawlers a different page from people.
The full checklist is in link in bio for adult creators.
How peekin compares
peekin is narrower than Linktree. There is no store, no payments and no app. What it does is the list above, on every plan.
- The paid address is never in the page a crawler can read.
- An 18+ check before anything adult resolves.
- The page is kept out of search entirely.
- Live straight away on a shared address on every plan, and your own domain whenever you want it: bring one free, or buy one here with the renewal date in plain sight.
Starter is £3.99 a month, Creator £9.99, Pro £19.99, and Agency £39 a month for 3 creators, then £12 each. Every plan goes live on a shared address, included. Your own domain is not included in any plan: bring one you own for free, or buy one from £7 a year (£14 on Starter). The measured side by side, including the rows where Linktree wins, is on peekin vs Linktree.
Moving from Linktree
You can paste your Linktree address into peekin and get a draft page built from it: your name, line, picture, links and social icons. Check every button, test the page inside Instagram, then switch your bios on the same day.
Leave your Linktree up with one button pointing at the new page, so old posts still lead somewhere. Our guide to moving your link page without losing fans has the full order.
A fair way to decide
Ask what your link page is for. If it is for being discovered by brands, press and search engines, Linktree is built for exactly that, and it does it very well. If it is for sending fans from Instagram to a paid adult page without your page doing the connecting for a crawler, you want the opposite design.
Plenty of creators use both: a Linktree for a safe-for-work brand profile, and a separate page on their own domain for the paid link. Keep them apart, and do not link one from the other.
Asked most often.
Does Linktree allow OnlyFans links?
Linktree's Community Standards allow links to legal adult content that are marked as sensitive. They do not allow collecting payment for adult content through Linktree or uploading adult media to it.
Why would an OnlyFans creator not use Linktree?
Because Linktree is built to be found. The paid address is written into the page and a preview card names the page, so a crawler can read the connection.
Can I import my Linktree into peekin?
Yes. Paste the address and a draft is built from it, with pictures copied across. You check it before it goes live.
Check your own page first
The scanner reads any link page the way Meta's crawler does and runs nine checks. It is free and needs no account. If you want a page built this way, the plans start at the price on the pricing page.
